Lois Bremer Hall, 94, of St. Marys passed away Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas.

Born July 27, 1923, in Chicago, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Mabel Bremer. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Hall, and son, Richard Hall.

Coming from Fernandina Beach, Fla.,, she had resided in Camden County for the past 14 years.  She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of St. Marys, the First Presbyterian Womens Circle and elder in the Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Hall was a lifelong musician, a hand bell director and ringer and Salvation Army bell ringer. She volunteered to help the hungry, was a member of the community band in Fernandina Beach, was the recipient of the Elsie Harper Volunteer of the Year Award given by the City of Fernandina Beach in 2001 and two-term president of the Fernandina Beach Women’s Club. She traveled all over the world, which she was so proud of. She was also named Who’s Who in American Women.

A celebration of Mrs. Hall’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, at the First Presbyterian Church in St. Marys with Rev. Rick Douylliez officiating. The family will meet with friends one hour prior to services in the social hall.  Burial will follow the services at Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Donn and Joan Hall of Bloomington, Ind.; daughter, Barbara Hall of St. Marys; grandchildren, Sean Hall of Bloomington and Jesse Hall (Afee) of Spain; and several nieces and nephews.

Allison Memorial Chapel and Funeral Home of St. Marys is in charge of arrangements.
