Nathan Ray Morgan Sr., 71, passed away on the morning of June 25, 2019, at his residence in Waverly. He was surrounded by his wife and daughter.
Nathan was born to Milton and Ruby Morgan on April 1, 1948, in Clarendon, Ark. He married his sweetheart, Linda Marie Stewart, in April 1966 and were married for 53 years. They raised two children. He was known for his quick wit, sense of humor, love for his family and a great love of his savior Jesus Christ.
Nathan leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Linda Stewart Morgan; daughter, Tammy Morgan Armstrong; son-in-law, Steven Armstrong; sisters, Joyce Parker of Van Buren, Ark., and Lois Thomas of Van Buren; brother, Roger Morgan of San Antonio, Texas; four grandsons; and five great-grandchildren.
Golden Isles Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
