Born in Easton, Pa., and raised in Hope, N.J., Richard (Dad, Uncle Rich, Pop Pop, Rich, Dick) graduated from Belvidere High School and Rider College and went on to have great success in a career truly meant for him: sales. Richard knew that being an insurance salesman was about his relationship with the client, and that was his strong suit in life — relationships. He cultivated friendships and family bonds with enthusiasm, had an amazing way of being both a good listener and a great storyteller, and used these skills not only to provide for his family but also to enjoy life to the fullest. Many people have been touched by Richard’s generosity and kindness, with his bonds extending from Hope to Marietta, Atlanta to St. Marys, and Palm Coast to forever in our hearts.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 30, at First Presbyterian Church, 100 Conyers St. in St. Marys, with a reception following.
Donations in Richard’s memory to the American Heart Association, in lieu of flowers, are appreciated.
