Albert Lynwood “Buckshot” Wilson, 58, of Waverly passed away Wednesday morning, July 19, 2017, at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick after an extended illness.
Born in Brunswick, his parents are Marguerite Keene Crum of Waverly and the late Albert Lee Wilson. He is also preceded in death by a daughter, Quantessa Lee Wilson; and two sisters, Theresa Taylor and Christine Thompson.
Albert was a retired crane operator for Sailor Marine and loved fishing, grilling, being a mechanic and being with his family and friends.
Survivors include his mother, Marguerite Keene Crum of Waverly; three children, Nicole Wilson (Kaitlyn) of Atkinson, Gunnar Wilson of Waverly and Christopher Taylor of Blackshear; his fiancée, Marcy Lewis of Waverly; five stepchildren, Crystal Morgan of Brunswick, Joshua Beckelhimer of Brunswick, Wednesday Lewis, Natalie Sheigh Lewis and Rebecca Lynn Lewis, all of Louisiana; 10 grandchildren; a brother, Tommy Thompson of Waverly; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Janet Coleman (Lawton) of Blackshear, Brenda Perry (Dennis) of Waverly and Gail Dixon of Blackshear; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation was held starting at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 22, at Frye Funeral Home in Nahunta.
Burial will be at a later date in Horse Stamp Cemetery in Waverly.
