Cindy Lee Galbraith, 59, of Kingsland passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017, at Southeast Georgia Health System, Camden Campus.
Born Sept. 23, 1957, in Oconomowoc, Wis., she was the daughter of the late Leroy Mendell and Nancy Lichty. She was also preceded in death by her stepmother, Betty Mendell.
Cindy had been a resident of Camden County since 1989 and had been employed with Trident Lakes Golf Club for many years. Cindy touched many lives with her big heart, going out of the way to help anyone that needed it. She always put her needs second to others, helping anyone that needed it throughout the community, including animals. A loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother, she will be missed dearly by her family, friends and everyone she had ever come in contact with.
Survivors include her husband, Burdus H. Galbraith II; children, Jeremy Rentmeester, Chad Rentmeester, Crystal Ebanks, Dayquan Holzendorf and Christopher Griffin, all of Kingsland; three sisters, Sandy Stephens of Kingsland, Debora Goodman of Sullivan, Wis., and Mary Lou Lichty of Jacksonville, Fla.; three brothers, Leroy Mendell of Jefferson, Wis., Dale Crull of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Jimmy Lichty of Lakeland, Fla.; five grandchildren, Christianah, Amelianah, Analianah, Amanianah and Kelton; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Joel Myers officiating.
