Aaron Patrick Powers, 25, of Woodbine died unexpectedly Oct. 24, 2019, at UF Health hospital surrounded by his family.

He is the cherished and beloved son of Paul and Barbara Powers with loving sisters, Kristine Hammett (Robert), Jody Warwinn (Mark) and big brother, Will Powers; adored uncle to Jaxson Powers and Lyla Hammett; admired by his maternal grandparents, Hutson and Ann Smith of Huntington, Ind., and paternal grandparents, the late William and Della Powers of Fernandina Beach, Fla.

Mr. Powers was born Dec. 26, 1993, in Huntington, Ind., and made Woodbine his home for the past 21 years. He enjoyed being with his family the most and anything to do with his home life as well as movies and talking about actors and laughing continuously about memorable movie lines. He enjoyed presidents and politics and his Nana’s watercolor paintings.

Aaron and his brother Will took over their father Paul’s successful landscaping business and were fortunate enough to be a strong brotherly team that took care of each other and built a client base with trust, respect, friendships and integrity.

Aaron was such a joy, a loving, caring, fun person who made everyone laugh and feel happy. He loved his niece and nephew, swimming in his pool, his beloved dog Rocky, cooking with his mother, playing video games, his friends and meeting new people.

The only thing his family didn’t expect was how to live without Aaron but all he needed was what thy hands hath provided. Great is thy faithfulness, thy will be done.

A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at Southeast Community Church located at 790 May Creek Drive in Kingsland.
